What an amazing time we had at Mill Farm Leisure for our New Years getaway! I booked one of the lakeside lodges for my boyfriends birthday/ new year and we both had an incredible time! The lodge itself was beautiful and had everything we needed. The hot tub was an excellent bonus that we used every evening! The fishing was good as well! For winter it was very productive. My boyfriend had 5 carp and about 80+ roach! I can't fish but it was fun to have a go with the little roach and we literally got a bite every 10 seconds! Would be great for kids who want to learn. Would highly recommend! Thank you Mill Farm!

A beautiful, peaceful location. Sycamore Cottage is a very good size for a family of 4 with the added bonus of 2 outside seating areas, the front with a view of open countryside and at the rear a private enclosed courtyard with a hot tub. The cottage comes furnished with everything you could possibly need for a long or short break and is more than comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful if needed for anything. The fishing lake is well maintained and very well stocked with lots of healthy looking roach and carp of a range of sizes, some over 20lbs. (We caught very well on magots, pinkies and casters). The on site take away is fantastic value for money, great tasting and very filling, not greasy at all. Highly recommended for a couples intimate getaway and/or fishing break. Less than 1.5miles to the wildlife park, 5 mins drive to a co-op and 15 mins drive to the beach make it suitable for families with children too. We will definitely return here.

Arrived here after a long drive in the dark and cold, had a bit of trouble with the heating at first but a phone call to the owners and it was soon sorted out. What a wonderful welcome with tea coffee milk and biscuits all supplied. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything you need. Bed was very comfy and towels large and fluffy. The hit tub was a lovely treat especially with it being so bitterly cold out, you soon warmed up in there. The lake was frozen outside our lodge which was a shame as I'd booked it specially for my partners birthday and he loves his fishing. The owners where very accomadating and said he could fish from a different poonton around the lake so he got some fishing time. The on site takeaway done some of the best pizzas and kababs we've ever had. We stayed in elm lodge which has a little enclosed garden perfect for our dog.

We arrived on a Friday evening after driving through torrential rain for 4 hours and were greeted warmly by the owner for check in. She was very friendly,helpful and gave us full instructions ref the lodge. The lodge was beautifully clean,warm and very well.enclosed for dogs. We had everything we needed in the lodge for cooking and the lovely wildlife cushions and curtains were a lovely finishing touch. The hot tub was amazing and serviced every morning to make sure it was working and clean. It was also a chance to chat with the owner if we had any issues or questions. The lake is so beautiful and peaceful and the fish we caught were in lovely condition. We didn't catch many big fish but were happy with what we caught. This was one of the nicest and relaxing places we had stayed and we will be back soon. Thank you to the team at Mill View.

Great cosy place to stay. Very quite and relaxing. Great welcome pack of coffee tea suger milk and biscuits. Would have liked an oven proof dish I. The lodge to be able to cook suppers

Great escape from a busy life, ideal for a short break. Peaceful, stylish and very Romantic. Mill Farm has a perfect Lake for Match Fisherman with a location and comfort level ideal for your partner at an excellent price 😉 We stayed in Maple Lodge, with a view of the corn fields, just amazing. The Lodge is beautiful inside and out, very private for evening's sat in the Hot Tub having a glass of wine (Beer for me) looking at the Star's. Great location to explore, Car Boots at Stickley (Sat) and New York (Sun) full of Bargains. Both my wife and I had a Relaxing, Romantic and Enjoyable experience and will return ❤️

My husband and I just love this place. We go every year and sometimes more than one - work permitted - and highly recommended it. The hit tubs are sheltered which is a bonus as most places don't. They have an onsite kebab and pizza house and a wo derdul fishing lake. The owners and the manager go above and beyond for your needs. Our most recent visit the was the week ru nine up to Christmas

Great stay at Elm Lodge, romantic and relaxing, my husband enjoyed having his own private fishing platform just off the deck. Clear skys and the jacuzzi for relaxing evenings. Onsite takeaway was convenient with a good choice to choose from. All in all an amazing stay. We will definitely be back!
